CHELSEA CATASTROPHE! £71m STAR BRUTALLY AXED from First Team!
Enzo Maresca Removes Chelsea Star from First Team Training During Pre-season
The newly appointed Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, is diligently preparing his young squad for their pre-season tour in the United States.
Footyvaild reports that Chelsea’s goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, has been relegated to train with the first team after initially being spotted with the reserve team.
According to an insider who spoke with Footyvaild, the Spanish goalkeeper is currently participating in sessions with the reserves.
“Kepa is training with the development squad not the first team.”
It is fair to say it has not been a roaring success since the Blues spent the hefty £71m fee to bring Kepa in.
There seems to be no chance for the Spain international to reintegrate into the plans at Stamford Bridge, and there is no indication that he desires to do so.
It is suggested that he has no intention of playing for the Blues again and prefers a permanent move to Madrid following their successful season last year.
Reports indicate that Robert Sanchez is currently expected to start in the first game of the season against Manchester City.
This implies he will be chosen over Djorjde Petrovic, who performed well and made few mistakes during his debut Premier League season.
