David Ornstein has disclosed that Manchester United would be open to selling Marcus Rashford, provided certain conditions are met.
David Ornstein recently shared insights on Manchester United’s stance regarding Marcus Rashford’s potential sale, highlighting two crucial conditions. Despite Rashford’s recent struggle with form, the club would entertain selling him either if a significant offer comes through or if he expresses a desire to leave.
Rashford, despite a tough season with only eight goals and five assists in 40 appearances, had a stellar previous campaign, bagging 30 goals in 56 matches. This success led to a five-year contract lasting until June 2028.
According to Ornstein, United isn’t actively seeking Rashford’s departure. Instead, they prefer working with him to restore his top form. Erik ten Hag also voiced support for Rashford, urging everyone to back and push him towards rediscovering his peak performance.
The Telegraph added that while United is open to offers for most first-team players due to financial constraints, certain players like Mainoo, Garnacho, and Hojlund are off the market. However, for Rashford, they might consider credible offers given the right circumstances.
