Chelsea’s Secret Weapon Revealed! You WON’T Believe Their Plan for Estevao Willian!
Estevao Willian’s Agent Reveals Chelsea’s Plans for the Young Star
Andre Cury, the agent of rising football talent Estevao Willian, has disclosed Chelsea’s vision for the Brazilian prodigy. The club plans to deploy Estevao as a number ten upon his arrival in 2025.
The Blues secured Estevao from Palmeiras in a deal that could reach £51.4m. Under the ownership of Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, Chelsea has been investing heavily in South American talent, and the acquisitions of Estevao and Kendry Paez highlight their strategy.
Estevao’s rapid rise has been remarkable. Despite debuting for Palmeiras just last December, he has already become a full Brazil international, earning his first cap against Ecuador. Although most of his playing time has been on the wing, where he has contributed ten goals and eight assists in 36 appearances for Palmeiras, Chelsea envisions him playing a central role.
Cury emphasized that this positioning is important for the player’s development. “He can adapt to any style of play,” Cury said in an interview with UOL. “Chelsea sees him playing as a number ten, and that’s key for us. Playing in the middle will help him grow even more.”
At Stamford Bridge, Estevao will face competition from established talents like Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku, setting the stage for an exciting future for Chelsea’s attack.
