BREAKING: Manchester United EYE SHOCK RETURN for Paul Pogba!
Paul Pogba, former Manchester United star, has hinted that a return to the Premier League is not off the table. The 31-year-old midfielder left United in 2022 after a six-year stint and rejoined Juventus. However, his first season back in Italy proved challenging as injuries limited him to just 10 appearances. Pogba initially missed part of the season due to knee surgery and later dealt with multiple muscle injuries.
Despite starting the next season injury-free, Pogba was hit with a major setback when he failed a doping test, resulting in a four-year suspension. This suspension has cast doubt over the continuation of his playing career, but it also opens up the possibility of him signing for a club as a free agent. Speculation about a return to English football has intensified, and in an interview with Sky Sports, Pogba did not dismiss the idea of going back to the Premier League, more than two years after leaving Manchester United.
When asked about a potential return, Pogba responded, “I am at Juventus, I am still under contract. I’ll see what the club’s plans are. My focus is on returning to training, showing that I am still the same player, with a new approach but the same abilities, and that I am ready. That’s all I’m thinking about.”
Pogba’s positive doping test for DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) came after a random test following the first match of the 2023/24 season, with the result being confirmed in October 2023. Pogba has maintained that he never “knowingly or intentionally took any substances that breach anti-doping rules.”
