Antony has been named in Manchester United’s squad for their Europa League clash against Rangers, even as he edges closer to a loan move to Real Betis for the remainder of the season.
The winger participated in training at Carrington on Wednesday and has been included in the traveling squad despite his expected departure. While his loan transfer to Spain’s La Liga is not yet finalized, the deal is anticipated to be completed before the winter transfer window closes on February 3.
United’s players began arriving at Old Trafford on Thursday afternoon ahead of the match, with 20 players spotted by MUTV cameras entering the stadium. The complete 23-man squad, permitted under Europa League regulations, will be confirmed later.
