Arsenal CRISIS? Saka INJURED, Havertz at RISK, and SEVEN Stars Could MISS Out!
Arsenal are facing a number of injury concerns as the Premier League returns following the international break.
Currently tied with Manchester City on both points and goal difference, the Gunners are just one point behind early leaders Liverpool. As they prepare for this weekend’s clash against Bournemouth, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has important decisions to make, especially regarding star player Bukayo Saka, who sustained a minor injury while playing for England.
Arteta provided an update on Saka, saying: “It’s not a serious injury, and he’s progressing well. He’s been training since returning from the national team. We’re optimistic, but we’ll see after today’s training session if he’s ready to play.”
Kai Havertz is also a concern, as he skipped international duty with Germany due to precautionary reasons. Arteta mentioned, “He’s had a few issues we’ve been managing, but the communication with the national team has been excellent. If he trains well, there’s a good chance he’ll be fit.”
Other Arsenal players remain in question, including Gabriel Martinelli, who may be rested after his Brazil duties. Meanwhile, Ben White, Jurrien Timber, and Oleksandr Zinchenko are close to recovering, but their participation is still uncertain. Captain Martin Odegaard will remain out of action.
