BOMBSHELL: Arsenal’s £17M Bid for Euro 2024 Star Accepted!

Arsenal has reportedly submitted an initial offer for Fenerbahce and Turkish national team star, Ferdi Kadioglu, as they seek to strengthen their defense in the closing weeks of the transfer window.

The 24-year-old has drawn significant attention this summer following his impressive displays at Euro 2024, where he was instrumental in Turkey’s journey to the quarter-finals, before their exit at the hands of the Netherlands.

Kadioglu, highly regarded at Fenerbahce, is expected to play a crucial role in Jose Mourinho’s squad this season. However, with growing interest from various clubs, Arsenal is said to have made their first move. Reports from Nutuk suggest that the Gunners have tabled an opening bid of around £17 million for the versatile wing-back. Nevertheless, Fenerbahce is holding firm on their £30 million valuation, indicating that negotiations may still be ongoing.

Back in May, it was rumored that Kadioglu had already agreed on personal terms with Arsenal. Besides the interest from the North London club, Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion have also been monitoring his situation closely.

This news follows Arsenal’s recent acquisition of Riccardo Calafiori, an Italian defender who also shone at this summer’s tournament. Calafiori became Arsenal’s second signing of the summer in a deal worth £42 million. With his arrival, Arsenal now has a solid selection of left-backs, including Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jurrien Timber, Jakub Kiwior, and Kieran Tierney. However, none of these players offer the same attacking prowess that Kadioglu brings to the table.

As the transfer window enters its final three weeks, Arsenal is expected to remain active, potentially targeting a new midfielder and attacker. Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino, another player whose value has surged after Euro 2024, is believed to be their top priority for strengthening the midfield.
