BOMBSHELL TRANSFER NEWS! Chelsea’s next move will leave you SPEECHLESS!
‘Neymar-esque’ – Chelsea Begin Negotiations for Next Transfer Move
Chelsea is actively engaged in transfer discussions to secure Brazilian prodigy Gabriel Mec, aiming to make him their seventh summer acquisition.
The club, under the guidance of head coach Enzo Maresca, is keen on bolstering their ranks with youthful talent, having already brought in six new players, four of whom are young prospects.
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea has pitched their project to the 16-year-old Mec and his representatives. Talks are ongoing with Mec’s current club, Gremio, and there is optimism about finalizing the deal.
Gabriel Mec, often compared to Neymar, has caught the eye of Chelsea scouts. Analyst Ben Mattinson praised him on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting Mec’s dual-footed skills and flair reminiscent of Neymar, coming from the same Gremio academy that produced Ronaldinho. Mattinson described Mec as a highly skilled attacker, capable of deceiving defenders with his rapid footwork and likened his style to classic Brazilian play.
Chelsea recently signed another promising Brazilian, Estevao, and aims to add Mec to their roster. However, both players can only join Chelsea once they turn 18. Additionally, Kendry Paez, another young talent signed by Chelsea, will join the squad after May 2025.
