BREAKING: Cole Palmer Signs MASSIVE New Chelsea Contract!

Cole Palmer has secured a new two-year contract extension with Chelsea following a remarkable debut season in 2023/24, according to football.london. This new deal keeps the 22-year-old at Stamford Bridge until June 2033.

Palmer’s first season with the Blues was nothing short of extraordinary, with the young star netting 25 goals and providing 15 assists across all competitions. His impressive performance has earned him an extended contract, ensuring his stay with the club for another nine years.

The England international, who scored in the Euro 2024 final loss to Spain in July, joined Chelsea from Manchester City last summer for approximately £42.5 million. Palmer made his pre-season debut for Chelsea on Sunday in a match against Inter Milan, where Enzo Maresca’s side secured a draw.

Maresca praised Palmer, calling him “fantastic,” but emphasized the importance of the forward’s off-the-ball work to maintain his position in the team, adding a light-hearted remark that Palmer wouldn’t play without it. “I had Cole for a year, so I know him well. He enjoys a bit of freedom, but he became the player he is today because of what he learned at City over 10 to 15 years, both on and off the ball,” Maresca said. He acknowledged Palmer’s 20-goal season, while also noting that repeating such a feat is challenging, urging him to continue being himself.

Palmer is expected to be a key player as Chelsea kicks off their Premier League season on Sunday against his former club, Manchester City, at Stamford Bridge.
