BREAKING: Foden’s Secret Message Confirms Eze’s Man City Move!

Eberechi Eze has stirred up buzz online after sharing a post featuring Manchester City’s Phil Foden. Following their journey to the Euro 2024 final with the England squad, the two players seem to have continued hanging out together.

This post comes amid speculation linking Eze to a potential move to Manchester City this summer, especially after Julian Alvarez’s transfer to Atletico Madrid. Eze, known for his versatility as a forward who can play both on the wing and through the middle, is seen as a strong alternative for City.

Foden, who has been playing on the left wing—a position Eze could potentially fill—was a regular choice for Gareth Southgate during the summer. Despite Eze’s impressive performances for Crystal Palace, he only appeared in three matches at the Euro 2024 tournament and didn’t start any of them.

At 26, Eze was brought into England’s 26-man squad as a replacement for Jack Grealish, but like Grealish, he saw limited playing time. His Premier League stats, with 11 goals and four assists in 27 appearances (24 starts), suggest he deserves more attention.

As the 2024/25 season approaches, Eze has captured the interest of City fans. On Instagram, he posted a photo of himself with Foden by a lake, with Foden holding a fish. Eze captioned the image, “Caught my first fish.”

While the pair only appear together in one of the nine photos Eze shared, Foden’s response to the post further fueled the transfer rumors. Foden commented with handshake and sky blue heart emojis.

This sparked excitement among City supporters, with many urging Foden to help bring Eze to Manchester. One fan dubbed Foden “Agent Phil,” while another urged, “Phil, bring him to the ETIHAD [heart eyes emoji].”

Fans of Tottenham, another club linked to Eze, also chimed in, promoting their team as a possible destination.
