Manchester City’s Premier League schedule for the Christmas period has undergone several changes following the latest TV broadcast selections.
One major alteration involves their highly anticipated derby against Manchester United, which was originally set for Saturday, December 14, at 3:00 pm. This fixture will now take place on Sunday, December 15, with a 4:30 pm kick-off, broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Before the derby, City’s home match against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, December 4, will also be televised. The match, now scheduled for a 7:30 pm start, will be shown live on Amazon Prime Video, 15 minutes earlier than its original time.
As for City’s festive schedule, their game against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday, December 21, has been moved to a 12:30 pm kick-off and will be broadcast on TNT Sports. On Boxing Day, City’s home clash with Everton will also kick-off at 12:30 pm, streamed live on Amazon Prime Video.
Closing out 2024, City will face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, December 29. Initially set for 3:00 pm, the match has been brought forward to 2:30 pm and will be shown on Sky Sports.
Their first match of 2025 remains unchanged, as City host West Ham United on Saturday, January 4, for a 3:00 pm kick-off.
Moving into mid-January, City’s trip to Brentford on Tuesday, January 14, will now start at 7:30 pm, slightly earlier than the initial 7:45 pm time, and will be aired on TNT Sports.
A fixture against Ipswich Town at Portman Road, initially scheduled for Saturday, January 18, at 3:00 pm, will now be played on Sunday, January 19, at 4:30 pm, with live coverage on Sky Sports.
City will finish January by hosting Chelsea on Saturday, January 25, at 5:30 pm, with the match set to be broadcast on Sky Sports.
