BREAKING: Manchester City Get GREEN LIGHT for Rodrygo Transfer!

Manchester City has reportedly renewed their interest in Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, amid ongoing speculation regarding his future at the club. The Brazilian forward has been linked with a potential move to the Premier League, particularly after Kylian Mbappé’s arrival at Real Madrid, which may disrupt the current lineup of Los Blancos’ attackers.

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Rodrygo might be the one to “make way” following Mbappé’s transfer, catching the attention of various European clubs. Manchester City is reportedly still interested in the 23-year-old, especially after the recent sale of Julian Alvarez, whose future with Real Madrid remains uncertain. The report also mentions that Liverpool is keeping a close eye on the situation and is prepared to make a move if the opportunity arises.

Despite the ongoing speculation, Rodrygo continues to participate in first-team training as usual, as Carlo Ancelotti’s squad prepares to face Atalanta in the European Super Cup on August 14.

In related transfer news, Julian Alvarez has been spotted arriving in Madrid, signaling the start of a new chapter in his career. The Argentine forward was seen signing a shirt of his new club, effectively confirming his departure from Manchester City.

When asked about Alvarez’s departure ahead of the Community Shield match on Saturday, Pep Guardiola expressed his views, saying, “I don’t believe in forcing players to stay if they aren’t happy. Contracts can be broken if someone isn’t content. Julian has been a beloved member of our team, but if he desires a new challenge at Atlético, one of Spain and Europe’s top clubs, I support his decision. It’s pointless for him to stay if he doesn’t want to.”
