Manchester United Eyeing €50 Million Move for Barcelona’s Fermin Lopez Amid Lucrative Salary Offer
Manchester United are reportedly plotting a summer move for Barcelona’s young attacking talent, Fermin Lopez. According to *El Nacional*, the Premier League giants are looking to capitalize on the 21-year-old’s current squad role at Camp Nou.
Despite being highly valued by Barcelona, Lopez is not guaranteed a starting position due to the club’s depth in attacking and midfield options. He faces stiff competition from players such as Marc Casado, Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, and Gavi, which has limited his minutes on the pitch.
As a result, the Spanish international may be considering a transfer in search of more consistent game time. Reports also suggest that Manchester United are prepared to offer him a staggering salary package, which could be a major factor in luring him to Old Trafford.
However, negotiations for the move might prove challenging, as Lopez is under contract with Barcelona until 2029. This gives the Catalan club significant leverage in transfer discussions. Balde has been an important contributor this season, making 31 appearances across all competitions, registering one goal and six assists. He is contracted with Barcelona until 2028, meaning any potential transfer will require serious negotiations.
