BREAKING: Manchester United’s DREAM ATTACK Unleashed!

Dream Manchester United Attack: £36m Zirkzee Transfer Highlights Clear Role for Hojlund

Joshua Zirkzee of the Netherlands showcases his skills during the UEFA EURO 2024 quarter-final match against Türkiye at Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany, on July 6, 2024.

Manchester United, who have also shown interest in Ivan Toney and Jonathan David, appear to be finalizing a deal for the 23-year-old Zirkzee. The club has agreed to pay €42.5m (£36m) for Zirkzee, with the payments spread out over three years.

A medical examination for Zirkzee in Manchester is already scheduled, with Erik ten Hag expected to focus on additional signings afterward. United are keen on Jarrad Branthwaite, Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte, and Matthijs de Ligt, with negotiations for de Ligt progressing.

A tactical shift saw Rasmus Hojlund often start on the bench, yet the Danish international made significant impacts during his appearances. Marcus Rashford had a tough season, leading to speculation about his future at the club.

Antony also struggled to secure a permanent place, while both Amad and Alejandro Garnacho enjoyed impressive breakthrough seasons. With only four attacking spots available, Ten Hag faces several crucial decisions, with Fernandes being a mainstay in the lineup.

Zirkzee is expected to play a significant role next season, though he may not immediately join the starting XI as Hojlund is set to reclaim his spot. United aim to create a balanced midfield that allows Fernandes to return to his preferred position.

Based on last season’s performances, Garnacho is likely to start on the left wing with Amad on the right, completing the front four alongside Fernandes and Hojlund. Rashford and Antony would be valuable options on the bench, ready to step in when needed, especially considering potential injuries.

Manchester United’s ideal attack lineup: Amad, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund.
