Mykhailo Mudryk’s representative, Vadim Shabliy, has dismissed rumors of the Ukrainian winger’s potential departure from Chelsea. Shabliy reaffirmed that Mudryk remains focused on solidifying his place in Enzo Maresca’s lineup and achieving long-term success with the club.
Chelsea signed Mudryk for £88 million two winters ago, outbidding Arsenal for his signature. Despite a promising debut as a substitute against Liverpool, the 23-year-old has struggled to meet expectations, nearly two years into his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
In 73 appearances across all competitions, Mudryk has scored 10 goals and provided nine assists. Under current manager Maresca, he has contributed 15 of those goal involvements. However, securing a starting role in Premier League matches remains challenging due to fierce competition for places.
Speculation about Mudryk leaving Chelsea has surfaced amid his struggles, but Shabliy insists the player is committed to honoring the eight-year contract he signed upon joining the club.
“Naturally, a player like Misha will always attract attention from other clubs and scouts,” Shabliy told *The Evening Standard*. “He has the ability to influence games, take responsibility, and make quick decisions. But right now, his sole focus is on Chelsea and earning a consistent spot in the starting XI.”
Chelsea’s attacking options have evolved significantly since Mudryk’s arrival. While several forwards have exited the club, nine new attackers, including loan signings, have joined. Maresca has frequently deployed a front four this season, with Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, and Pedro Neto forming his preferred attacking lineup.
Despite his talent, Mudryk has been outscored by most of his attacking teammates, including Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix, who have also contributed more goals this season.
