Chelsea’s BLOCKBUSTER £95M Shake-Up: Victor Osimhen OUT, Trio EXIT Incoming, and Enzo Maresca’s WAR CHEST Grows!

Chelsea reportedly has no intention of pursuing Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window, despite previously missing out on the prolific Nigerian forward. The 25-year-old striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has thrived in Turkey, scoring 12 goals in 15 appearances, including a brace in a Europa League victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Although Osimhen has impressed, *The Athletic* qreports that Chelsea is unlikely to reignite their interest in him this winter. The Blues had made a late attempt to secure the striker on loan in September, with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, but negotiations fell through. While Chelsea remains focused on bolstering their attacking options, the club appears to be targeting next summer for major signings. Among the players being monitored is Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, who could fit their future plans.

Currently sitting second in the Premier League, Chelsea seems well-equipped in attack, with stars like Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke, João Félix, and Christopher Nkunku in their ranks.

Meanwhile, the January transfer window could see departures from Stamford Bridge. Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are rumored to be considering moves due to limited playing time under manager Enzo Maresca. These exits could free up funds to strengthen the squad, providing Maresca with an enhanced budget for the summer.

Chelsea is set to close out the year with key matches against Fulham on Boxing Day and Ipswich Town on December 30, which could shape the club’s momentum heading into 2024.
