Alejandro Garnacho has validated Ralf Rangnick’s early assessment of his potential at Manchester United, proving to be a standout talent despite limited starting opportunities this season.
Although the winger has only started two matches so far, his attacking contributions are impressive. In Manchester United’s dominant 7-0 victory over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup, Garnacho scored twice, doubling his season tally, and provided two assists for Marcus Rashford’s goals. This brings his total to seven direct goal involvements in just six appearances, underlining his ability and importance to the team. Aside from a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, Garnacho has posed a consistent threat in every game.
After a breakout season in 2022/23, where he transitioned from a super-sub to a more regular starter, Garnacho has continued to establish himself as one of United’s top players.
