“I DON’T CARE!” – Bukayo Saka SHUTS DOWN Rodri’s Comments Ahead of Epic Arsenal vs. Man City Clash!
“I Don’t Care” – Bukayo Saka Responds to Rodri Ahead of Man City vs Arsenal Match
Bukayo Saka is eager to leave his mark for Arsenal as they prepare to face Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
Saka has responded to Rodri’s claim that Arsenal “only wanted a draw” during their encounter at the Etihad Stadium last March. While competing for the title against City last season, the Gunners secured a point after previously defeating Pep Guardiola’s team in their home match.
This result was a significant improvement from the 4-1 defeat Arsenal experienced in a similar title race with City during the 2022/23 season. However, Rodri was not impressed by Arsenal’s performance. After the 0-0 draw in March, the Spanish midfielder suggested that Arsenal was satisfied with just a point and didn’t aim for a victory. Saka set the record straight on this claim ahead of their upcoming clash, stating, “Only we know the truth. To be honest, I don’t really care.” He continued, “We know what we believed – we know what we aimed to achieve. We went to Manchester City to win, and we will do that again this time. Our focus is on winning.”
Mikel Arteta made it clear that the team is determined to secure all three points this weekend. He told reporters earlier this week, “We will definitely prepare to win, just like we did against Atalanta. That’s the message. To succeed, we need to improve on some aspects from tonight. We did some things exceptionally well and must replicate that, as we know we need a strong performance to beat them.”
Meanwhile, City may be without midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who had an injury scare during a recent 0-0 draw with Inter Milan, which would be a significant setback for the hosts. Guardiola provided an update on De Bruyne’s condition, saying, “Kevin feels a little better, but not yet. Tomorrow we train, and we will see. He could be involved.”
