INJURY CRISIS at Old Trafford?!

Seven Players Could Miss Man Utd vs Tottenham Premier League Clash Due to Injuries

Both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur may be missing key players in today’s Premier League showdown due to injury setbacks.

United are set to welcome Spurs to Old Trafford as they aim to bounce back from recent draws. Erik ten Hag’s squad has drawn their last two games across competitions, including a midweek Europa League fixture against FC Twente.

Last weekend, United also played to a goalless draw with Crystal Palace, leaving them in 11th place in the Premier League standings with seven points from five matches. A win over Tottenham would lift United to eighth and narrow the gap to the top four to just three points.

Injuries have plagued United throughout the season. Leny Yoro and Victor Lindelof have both yet to make an appearance due to injuries.

Yoro fractured a metatarsal during pre-season, and his recovery is expected to extend until November. Meanwhile, Lindelof has been dealing with a toe injury but has resumed training, making him a potential option for the Spurs clash.

Additionally, Tyrell Malacia is edging closer to rejoining the squad after being sidelined for more than a year due to a knee injury. His last appearance was in May 2023, and he could be ready to return next month.

Luke Shaw is also out, having suffered a calf injury during pre-season. Optimism remains that the England international could make his comeback after the October international break.

Tottenham also faces injury issues, with captain Heung-Min Son being a major concern. He was substituted in the second half of Spurs’ Europa League win against Qarabag and remains doubtful for the match against United.

Spurs are also without Richarlison and Wilson Odobert. Richarlison has missed the entire season so far due to an injury sustained over the summer, while Odobert has been absent for the last two games with a hamstring injury.
