“Man Utd Must Offload These 3 Stars to Seal Blockbuster £60m Transfer Deal!”
Man Utd Must Sell Three Players to Secure £60m Dream Transfer
Michael Olise fights to maintain control against Manchester United’s midfielder Casemiro.
Manchester United has only one match left to conclude their 2023/24 season.
The team wrapped up a disappointing Premier League season with a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium. Now, their attention turns to Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester City.
Following the final, the club’s focus will shift entirely to the transfer market, which promises to be one of the most pivotal in recent years. United is expected to make numerous sales and needs to strengthen key areas of the squad.
United has been linked with various players for these positions, and speculation will only intensify as the transfer window approaches.
Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise has been a consistent target for United in recent months. Palace is reportedly seeking £60m for the Frenchman, who has attracted significant interest ahead of the window opening.
Despite dealing with injuries this season, Olise has managed an impressive 10 goals in just 19 Premier League matches, along with six assists. At just 22 years old, he shows immense potential.
Olise, a versatile player, excels on the right wing, cutting inside to create opportunities with his left foot. United has struggled to solve their right flank issues despite investing heavily in Jadon Sancho and Antony over recent summer windows.
Antony and Jadon Sancho celebrate in front of Manchester United’s fans after a goal at Old Trafford.
Looking ahead to a crucial summer, it is believed that only four players are safe from potential sales at United, with neither Sancho nor Antony among them. Antony’s performance has declined in his second season, and Sancho has been on loan at Borussia Dortmund for the latter part of the season.
Decisions also loom for Facundo Pellistri and Amad, who have both played on the right wing. Pellistri has been on loan at Granada since January, while Amad has recently impressed, potentially extending his United tenure.
Pellistri is expected to be sold permanently to free up squad space and generate funds. Sancho could also be sold, but moving him may be more challenging due to the fee United will seek.
Few United fans would lament Antony’s departure after two disappointing seasons. However, finding buyers willing to match United’s £85.5 million investment in him will be difficult.
Amad deserves consideration during pre-season, as his recent performances suggest he could offer more than he has been allowed to show. Nonetheless, he would be easier to transfer than Antony.
Ultimately, if United aims to add another right-winger in their fourth summer transfer window, they need to sell first. Pellistri’s time at Old Trafford appears over, and Sancho is in a similar position.
Antony’s departure faces hurdles, and many supporters would prefer Amad to have an extended chance next season, even if the right wing is further strengthened. However, Antony must be moved on to make way for a new signing more than Amad does.
