SHOCKER: Gary Neville STUNNED by Cole Palmer! Mohamed Salah’s WARNING Signs for Liverpool Fans

Liverpool’s defense will need to be extra cautious as they prepare to face Chelsea, with Gary Neville comparing rising star Cole Palmer to Mohamed Salah.

The two Premier League giants are set to meet at Anfield on Sunday. Liverpool, managed by Arne Slot, currently sit at the top of the table, while Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea are close behind in fourth after seven matches.

While both teams are filled with talent, Mohamed Salah and Cole Palmer are emerging as the standout players for their respective sides. Salah’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain with his contract nearing its end next summer, while Palmer, formerly of Manchester City, is grabbing attention as one of the league’s rising stars. His performances have drawn comparisons from Neville to Salah’s early days at Liverpool.

Neville was left astonished by Palmer’s recent four-goal performance against Brighton, expressing to NBC Sports that the Chelsea forward is quickly reaching Salah’s level. “He’s not far off,” Neville said, recalling how he initially doubted Salah’s ability to maintain his incredible form after his first standout season. “Palmer has completely surprised me with what he’s producing,” he added.

Despite Palmer’s lackluster showing in England’s unexpected 2-1 defeat to Greece, Neville remains convinced of his talent and criticized Manchester City for letting him leave. “It’s unbelievable to think he wasn’t playing in the European Championship this summer, and even more unbelievable that City let him go,” he said.

This season, Salah has scored four goals and provided four assists in seven Premier League matches, but Palmer has surpassed him with six goals and five assists in the same number of appearances.
