SHOCKER! MAN CITY PLOTTING TO STEAL REAL MADRID STAR IN BLOCKBUSTER MOVE!

Manchester City Monitoring 22-Year-Old Real Madrid Midfielder Amid Reduced Game Time: Reports

Manchester City are reportedly keeping a close eye on Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga as they assess a potential summer transfer. The Premier League champions are in the process of revamping their squad, focusing on bringing in younger talents to refresh their aging lineup after a challenging campaign.

According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Camavinga is on Pep Guardiola’s radar ahead of the upcoming transfer window. However, while City are among several clubs tracking the Frenchman, they have yet to decide whether to make an official move.

The 22-year-old has endured a tough 2024-25 season with Real Madrid, struggling for consistent form and slipping down the team’s hierarchy. His campaign started on a rough note after picking up an injury during training ahead of the UEFA Super Cup in July. Despite returning to action, he has delivered inconsistent performances, made costly errors, and continued to deal with fitness setbacks.

Manchester City share strong ties with CAA Stellar, the agency representing Camavinga, having previously signed one of their clients, Omar Marmoush, in January. The French midfielder has made 25 appearances under Carlo Ancelotti this season, contributing one goal and two assists.

City are actively seeking midfield reinforcements as they prepare for life beyond Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne, and Bernardo Silva. Camavinga remains under contract with Los Blancos until 2029, and no decision has been made regarding his future.

Real Madrid and Manchester City Target PSG Midfielder: Reports

Meanwhile, both Real Madrid and Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Joao Neves this summer, per Fichajes.net. The two European heavyweights are searching for midfield reinforcements and view the Portuguese star as a valuable addition.

Neves joined PSG from Benfica in a €60 million deal last summer despite Premier League interest and has thrived in Ligue 1. The 20-year-old has featured in 36 matches, netting four goals and providing nine assists.

Madrid are keen on securing a player with a playing style similar to Luka Modric, who is rumored to be contemplating retirement at the end of the season. Meanwhile, Manchester City continue their squad overhaul, targeting young midfielders to shape their future. However, PSG are expected to resist any offers, meaning both suitors would have to present a significant financial bid to convince the French club to part ways with Neves.
