SHOCKER! (NOTICE) 11 Players Could MISS Aston Villa vs Man Utd Showdown Injury Crisis Deepens Mainoo BOOST?!

Several players are expected to miss Sunday’s Premier League matchup between Aston Villa and Manchester United due to injuries. Both teams will be without key players as they face off at Villa Park, with United aiming to secure their first Premier League victory since a 3-0 win over Southampton on September 14, ahead of the upcoming international break.

Manchester United, under Erik ten Hag, have been plagued by injuries throughout the season, a trend that will likely continue into this match. Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, and Tyrell Malacia have yet to play this season and will remain out. Yoro, who sustained a metatarsal fracture during preseason, has not made his debut since joining from Lille, while Shaw and Malacia are still recovering from calf and knee injuries, respectively.

Kobbie Mainoo, who missed United’s midweek draw with Porto after being subbed off against Spurs due to a fitness issue, is another concern. He participated in training in Portugal on Friday, and Ten Hag mentioned that a decision regarding his availability would be made closer to the game. “It was too risky for Kobbie to play against Porto,” Ten Hag explained, adding that his fitness for Sunday’s match would be assessed.

Mason Mount, another United midfielder, missed Thursday’s game at the Estadio do Dragao after suffering a head injury against Tottenham. His participation against Villa is still uncertain.

Aston Villa will also be without several key players. Club captain John McGinn has missed the last three games due to a hamstring injury and is unlikely to return before the international break. The match against Bayern Munich also added to Villa’s injury woes, with Jacob Ramsey, Leon Bailey, and Amadou Onana all now doubtful for the United clash. However, Onana appears to have a better chance of recovering in time. Villa will also miss Boubacar Kamara and Tyrone Mings, who are both sidelined with long-term knee injuries.
