SHOCKING NEWS from Stamford Bridge!Chelsea fans, hold onto your seats because your long awaited STAR player is BACK just in time for the epic showdown against Liverpool!

Reece James is set to return for Chelsea’s match against Liverpool on Sunday after recovering from a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old defender has not played this season due to an injury sustained just before their Premier League opener against Manchester City.

James, who has dealt with numerous injuries over the past three years and missed 83 games, was sidelined for 11 additional matches this season, including the first seven in the Premier League. However, Chelsea’s captain is now ready to play again, as he was seen training with his teammates earlier this week. Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that James is fit to face Liverpool, marking his potential return since his red card in the 2-0 win against Brighton at the end of last season.

During a pre-match press conference, Maresca commented, “Reece is available. He trained with us throughout the international break, and we’re happy to have him back. It’s tough dealing with recurring injuries, but we’ve adopted the same approach with Reece as we have with Wes and Romeo—limiting them to one game a week. Right now, his body can’t handle playing more than once a week.”

As James continues to regain his fitness, Maresca emphasized that he will likely not be involved in Europa Conference League or Carabao Cup fixtures for the time being. Maresca added, “For now, this approach works, but we’ll see about the future. For now, we need to ease him back in.”

In other team news, Carney Chukwuemeka, Levi Colwill, and Noni Madueke are expected to return after dealing with minor issues during the international break. Both Colwill and Madueke represented England over the break, while Chukwuemeka has been out due to illness.

Meanwhile, Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana will be unavailable, as both players are suspended after receiving their fifth yellow cards before the international break.
