SHOCKING TRANSFER NEWS! Kyle Walker LEAVES Man City for AC Milan!

Manchester City captain Kyle Walker is heading to AC Milan on loan for the remainder of the season, the two clubs confirmed on Friday.
AC Milan announced that the loan deal includes an option to make the move permanent. According to Sky Italy, the England international’s transfer fee would be approximately $5.24 million.
The 34-year-old defender, who joined Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017, has played 319 games for Pep Guardiola’s side. His most recent appearance came during their 4-1 Premier League victory over West Ham United on January 4. Walker signed a three-year contract extension in 2023, leaving him with 18 months remaining on his current deal.
Reflecting on his time at City, Walker expressed gratitude in a heartfelt social media post. “Joining this amazing club in 2017 was a dream come true,” he wrote. “Seven years later, having won 17 trophies—including the Champions League and an unforgettable treble—it’s been beyond anything I could have imagined as a child. To Pep, thank you for believing in me and shaping me into the player I am today.”
Walker was notably absent from City’s lineup during their dominant 8-0 FA Cup victory over Salford City on January 11. Guardiola revealed that Walker had requested the opportunity to explore playing abroad.
Throughout his career at City, Walker was a key player in all six of their Premier League title wins under Guardiola. However, his departure coincides with a challenging period for the club. Manchester City, currently sitting fifth in the Premier League, trail leaders Liverpool by 12 points and are at risk of an early exit from the Champions League following their 4-2 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
On the international stage, Walker has earned 93 caps for England and was the sole England player named in the Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament. He played every minute of the competition, where England finished as runners-up to Spain. Walker also served as part of the leadership group for the national team during the tournament.
Walker’s move is part of a busy January transfer window for Manchester City. The club recently signed Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt, as well as Brazilian defender Vitor Reis, 19, and Uzbekistan international Abdukodir Khusanov.
